The Energy Design Website applies appropriate solutions that ensure, support and promote the right of Users to privacy, limiting to a minimum the collection and processing of their data and eliminating their use for purposes other than the implementation of Accesses and Publications.
This Privacy Policy explains how the Website Manager uses information and how it collects and stores it. The terms of the Privacy Policy apply to all visitors, Users, purchasers and other persons obtaining Accesses or using Publications, whom we collectively refer to as “Users”. What are the Administrator’s requirements regarding the age of Users?
The Administrator requires that all account holders be at least 18 years old. The User is responsible for all activities conducted by minors on their account.

The Website may use Cookies to collect other, non-personal data. They are used to provide Services at the highest level, to optimize the content available on the Website, to adapt them to the individual needs of each User, but not for advertising and statistical purposes. The Administrator collects information about the location in order to provide content in a given language and protect the Services (protection against visits and attacks from high-risk countries). This may include data such as the User’s IP address, browser information. It obtains information about the location provided by the User in the profile or IP address.
The Website uses location only to block visitors from high-risk locations.
What is the legal basis for data processing?
The data is processed for the purpose of providing Accesses, communicating with the Administrator, handling inquiries or recruitment. The legal basis for data processing is art. 6 sec. 1a, b and/or art. 6 sec. 1c of the GDPR Regulation 2016/679. This includes cases in which:

The information collected by the Administrator is used only for the purposes for which the User has consented, e.g. to contact the User by e-mail or telephone, to handle and process the placed order, to determine your product preferences and to send information about news/updates on the site.
The Administrator uses the data only to transfer its accesses to the right hands!
What are the User’s rights in relation to the personal data collected by the Site?

The User has access to certain personal data related to his/her account in the privacy settings of the account. The User may request a copy of his/her personal data in an easily accessible format and information about how it is used.

The User is solely responsible for making such data publicly available and may be called upon to provide compensation.
Who is the Users’ personal data shared with?
The Site shares personal data only with those who work on behalf of the project and provide services related to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or the Regulations.

The Administrator also shares personal data when it believes that it is necessary to:
Comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal processes, including those from law enforcement or other government agencies; Protection of Users, Authors, Manager, for example to enforce the Regulations, prevent spam or other unwanted communications and investigate or protect against fraud; Maintain the security of Publications and Accesses.
In addition, the Administrator allows the transfer of Users’ personal data to third parties if the latter expresses their informed consent, i.e. by providing precise information about the entity, purposes, scope of data and the period of storage.
How long is the User’s data stored?
The Administrator will store the User’s data only as long as necessary for the purposes specified in this Policy, as long as the User’s account is active (i.e. for the entire period of the Energy Design account) or as long as necessary to provide the Publications.
If the User does not want their data to be used by the Administrator, they can close their account.
The Administrator will store and use the User’s data to the extent necessary to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g. if we are required to store the User’s data to ensure compliance with applicable laws), resolve disputes, enforce agreements and in other ways described in this policy. Please note that closing your account may not free up your email address, Username (if any) for reuse on a new account. The User and the Site will then also lose information about their progress in the Posts, which may require them to be re-entered in order to proceed to the next levels.
If a comment is left, both the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve subsequent comments, rather than keeping them in a moderation queue.
What automated decision-making and/or profiling do we do with User data?
When you visit the Site or use the Accesses, the Site automatically collects and stores information from your browser or mobile device.
